Getting a custom cake made especially for your event is such an exciting and unique experience! As a woman, I like to compare it with a wedding dress designed and made especially for you and your special day. A dress that will make you feel like the most beautiful woman in the whole world and leave your guests simply awestruck with your look and everything that it conveys. Your dress should be a true reflection of your personality and your story.

With a cake, it is pretty much the same. It is meant to be a centerpiece, created to stand out and highlight all the effort, planning and love that you have put into your event.
WHEN & HOW DOES THE PROCESS start?
So, you are thinking of having an event, it may be a birthday celebration, anniversary, a wedding or maybe you just want to give a very special present to a dear one who is having some kind of event. Life is full of good excuses to celebrate and have cake, don't you think?
Once you have a date in mind, please get in touch with me via this contact form to confirm availability. To give each project the attention it deserves, I work on a limited number of commissions per month. It is hence recommended that you reserve your date as soon as possible.

THE DESIGN
As a designer, I take inspiration from just about everywhere, which is why before our consultation I will ask you to fill in a form with essential information that will help me understand your needs and desires. During this consultation we will exchange ideas and I will guide you through the process. Shortly after, (24 to 48 h), I will send you an initial estimate quote based on design, size, delivery and setup. The final price will be determined once the design has been finalised.
Book your date
Once the date has been secured with a deposit, I will send you a tasting box to choose your flavours and we will finalise the design details with a sketch and detailed quotation. If you would like to receive a tasting box before securing the date, I will be happy to do so. The tasting box fee will be deducted from your final balance when you decide to book your date.
BEFORE THE EVENT
Over the time leading up to your event, I will get in touch to confirm the final design, or make any changes required (reflected in an adjusted quotation) and any other on-the-day details, like who your event coordinator is at the venue, delivery, set up etc. Typically, after our last email confirming details, we won’t need to speak again until after your event.
AFTER THE EVENT
I absolutely love hearing from you after your event! I look forward to knowing how it all went, your impressions and the reaction of your guests. And if additionally you can send me pictures of the beautiful centrepiece in all of its glory… ahh, true nourishment for my soul!
